Unity Gardens

Unity Gardens’ Health Over Hunger Youth Program uses food and gardening activities to attract neighborhood children to their garden in South Bend. Each summer, the program hosts a summer garden camp that engages kids in amending huger while having fun with food. In 2020 the program adapted its curriculum into a virtual format that teaches youth and community members gardening basics in order to promote healthier eating and food security.
