ROSE (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for new moms)

ROSE is a program that is designed to give pregnant women the skills and information that they need to lower their risk of postpartum depression. The education includes, four 60-minute prenatal sessions and 1 booster post partum session via zoom group, in person group and/or one on one sessions. The program teaches pregnant women to recognize the signs of depression and how to reduce stress by seeking social support, finding a network of friends and family members, and knowing where to go for help. After the women complete the prenatal sessions they are followed post partum for a year to monitor depression or needs for referrals.
