Jane Norell

Jane is a passionate advocate for maternal and child well-being with an academic foundation in psychology, holding a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in childhood development and cognitive neuroscience. Her academic work centered on the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the social drivers impacting developmental outcomes in underserved populations. As the Project Director of The Family Journey, Jane leads initiatives aimed at improving maternal and infant health outcomes. She oversees the implementation of programs, manages multidisciplinary teams and budgets, ensures compliance with federal regulations, and cultivates strategic partnerships. Her role also involves community engagement, monitoring program impact, and leveraging data to inform continuous improvement and reporting to funders. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and volunteering in her community.
