Alice Hightshoe

Grant and Community Partnership Coordinator

Alice has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University. She is currently in the MBA program at IU and plans to graduate Spring 2024. Alice began her career with Beacon and spent her first 10 years with HealthWorks! Kids Museum where she was a Captain of the Universe and after graduating as the Magnificent Mastermind of Operations. Following her time with HealthWorks! she was the Volunteer Coordinator at the hospital and a Patient Services Representative in the discharge lounge. She has worked on various lean and process improvement projects throughout the health system, creating efficiency and service effectiveness. Alice currently focus on pre-award and post award grant management in regards to writing grants and securing funds at a local, state, federal level. She also refines and establishes grant management protocols and procedures.

On a personal note, she loves spending time with her family and her role as a mom to boys ages 5 and 7 is the best and most rewarding experience of her life.  She also loves to travel and Harry Potter!
