Every three years, Beacon Community Impact completes a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to understand the greatest needs of the communities in Beacon Health’s service area. The 2024 CHNA report details these qualitative and quantitative findings from the community.

ROSE (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for new moms)

ROSE is a program that is designed to give pregnant women the skills and information that they need to lower their risk of postpartum depression. The education includes, four 60-minute prenatal sessions and 1 booster post partum session via zoom group, in person group and/or one on one sessions. The program teaches pregnant women to recognize the signs of depression and how to reduce stress by seeking social support, finding a network of friends and family members, and knowing where to go for help. After the women complete the prenatal sessions they are followed post partum for a year to monitor depression or needs for referrals.
