In 2020, the Health Improvement Alliance of St. Joseph County developed an educational curriculum to recruit, train, and promote health equity in organizations throughout the county. Beginning in 2021, HIA will pilot this curriculum to a small group of non-profits. Non-profits participating in the program will have the opportunity to assess their ability to address health inequity through their work while gaining the tools and skills that allow them to do so.
